The Flemington Car Shows are back this summer and Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is returning as a Season Trophy Sponsor and Door Prize Sponsor.

 

Come spend a Saturday evening enjoying all the beautiful classic cars, some great live music and all the shops and restaurants Flemington has to offer. Don’t forget to grab a delicious craft brew from Lone Eagle Brewing or a craft cocktail from Skunktown Distillery while you’re in town!

The Drew McLachlan Memorial Fund is hosting its 4th annual golf outing fundraiser on August 21, 2023 at the Raritan Valley Country Club.   Having donated over $100,000 to causes including: Overlook Cancer Center, Somerville High School Scholarships, Somerset County YMCA, and Somerville Recreation Programs, the Fund is dedicated to helping the talented thrive and the cancer fighters survive.

Farmers of Flemington to Sponsor 2023 Clinton Elks Music Fest

The Clinton Elks Lodge will be holding their 19th Annual Music Fest on Saturday, June 10, 2023 to raise money for special needs children and Elks’ Camp Moore “Miracle on the Mountain,” a camp paid for by the NJ Elks Lodges.  Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is very pleased to sponsor this fun community event.

 

Camp Moore gives the children a sense of independence; all children get a one-on-one counselor for the week, who has special training in their disabilities. The counselors come from all over the world and spend their summers at the camp. The kids can enjoy the arts & crafts room, nature and game rooms, outdoor pool, picnics and many more activities.

 

Please come out and support the Elks while you enjoy a fun afternoon of great music, food and drink!  We hope to see you there!!

Lace ’em Up for Charity with the Main Street Races of Hunterdon

Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is pleased to return as a 2023 sponsor of the Main Street Race series here in scenic Hunterdon County.   The series includes the 21st annual Clinton Township Country Run 15k/5k, the Main Street Half Marathon & 4-Miler, and the festive Santacon, Run Before Christmas 8k.

 

Last year, these fun events brought thousands of runners, walkers, and friends together to raise over $20,000 for local charities.  “The Main Street races really highlight what’s great about living and working in Hunterdon County,” said Scott St. Angel, President & CEO of Farmers.  “The community comes together to enjoy the outdoor beauty that Hunterdon offers while raising money to support our local charitable organizations in the process.  So, sign up, lace ‘em up and we’ll see you out there.”

Toys for Tots Collection is Underway in Flemington

FLEMINGTON, NJ – Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington has teamed up with the Marine Corps Reserve as an official drop-off site for the 2022 Toys for Tots drive.

 

New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the Farmers of Flemington building located at 23 Royal Road in Flemington between 8am and 4pm M-F.  Cash donations will also be accepted in lieu of toys.

 

“We really enjoy participating in Toys for Tots each year.  It’s a wonderful holiday tradition and knowing that we’re helping needy children in our community is a great feeling,” said Scott St. Angel, President of Farmers.  “Last year we collected 407 toys plus $476 in cash donations and we hope to top that this year so please shop early and stop by to drop off a toy.  It’s an opportunity to make a child’s Christmas a special one!”

 

Toys and cash donations will be accepted through mid-December.   Checks or money orders may be made payable to “Toys for Tots.”

Flemington, NJ –  The 30th annual CEA Turkey Trot is almost here! 🦃🏃🏅

 

Each year since 1993 over 5,000 runners, walkers and spectators have gathered in the Historic Borough of Flemington on Thanksgiving morning to support the Center for Educational Advancement and their mission of facilitating career pathways and community employment for students and adults with disabilities. That’s 𝟯𝟬 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀!

 

“This is also a special year for Farmers of Flemington as we enter our second decade of working with the CEA as sponsors of the Turkey Trot and other CEA events,” said Scott St. Angel, President & CEO of Farmers. “For us, the Turkey Trot is more than just a 5k, it’s a fun and festive holiday tradition where generations of families, friends, and neighbors come together as one community. It truly represents the spirit of Thanksgiving and it’s a great way to start the day!”

Chip In to Raise Some Green for the Raritan Township PBA

The Raritan Township P.B.A. is hosting its annual golf outing fundraiser on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Copper Hill Country Club.  This fun event raises money to support the association and its philanthropic work within the community.

 

Over the last year, the P.B.A has donated more than $10,000 to local charities including Children’s Sports, Harvest Family Success Center, The Food Pantry, Visit with Santa, Junior Police Academy, Shop with a Cop, Toy Drives, and much more.  It also provides a scholarship to graduating seniors at Hunterdon Central High School.

The company’s Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) was also affirmed and the outlook for both ratings is Stable.

The High Bridge Fire Department is hosting its 22nd annual golf outing fundraiser on September 9th, 2022 at the High Bridge Hills Golf Course.  This year, funds are being raised for the department’s equipment fund to help better equip its volunteers so they can better protect our community.
