FLEMINGTON, NJ.  April 29, 2021 – Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington, a leading Property & Casualty insurer headquartered in Hunterdon County, will be a “Secure Shelter” sponsor of the 2021 virtual Box City fundraiser to support Family Promise of Hunterdon County.

“Family Promise does a lot of good in our community and we are happy to support their efforts,” said Scott St. Angel, President & CEO of Farmers.  “The COVID-19 crisis has made it more difficult to raise funds while at the same time, the shutdown of businesses has left more people in financial need.  We hope anyone who has a few dollars to spare will consider making a donation so the folks at Family Promise can keep helping the people in our community who need them.”

FLEMINGTON, NJ.  March 3, 2021 – Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington, a leading Property & Casualty insurer headquartered in Hunterdon County, will be the official Bib Sponsor for the 2021 CEA Turkey Trot to take place on Thanksgiving Day in Flemington.   This fun community event helps raise funds to support the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA), a non-profit (501c3) community-based organization with the mission to Educate, Empower and Employ individuals with special needs.

“We are very pleased to renew our sponsorship of the CEA this year.” said Scott St. Angel, President & CEO of Farmers.  “We support the CEA’s mission and appreciate all they do for our community.   Plus, the Turkey Trot is a wonderful Flemington tradition and a great way to start Thanksgiving!”

2020 Toys for Tots Collection Under Way in Flemington

FLEMINGTON, N.J. – Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is teaming up with the US Marine Corps Reserve to support their annual Toys for Tots drive as a drop-off site.

New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off any time before December 9th at the Farmers of Flemington building located at 23 Royal Road in Flemington from 8:00am to 4:00pm M-F.  Cash donations will also be accepted in lieu of toys.

“We love hosting Toys for Tots every year. It’s a wonderful tradition and it feels great to know we’re helping a lot of kids have a brighter Holiday,” said Scott St. Angel, President of Farmers. “With the Pandemic this year, the need is greater than ever so please stop by and drop off a toy.  After all, bringing joy to others, especially kids, is really what the Holiday Season is all about.”

Farmers Insurance of Flemington Donates $5,000 to the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation

FLEMINGTON, N.J. – Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington has contributed $5,000 to the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation’s COVID-19 relief fund.  The money is intended to purchase supplies such as video baby monitors to help the medical staff monitor COVID patients while conserving their limited Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

 

“Right now our doctors, nurses and hospital staff are working hard and putting themselves at risk 24/7 to battle the Coronavirus,” said Farmers President & CEO, Scott St. Angel. “As part of the Hunterdon community, we truly appreciate their efforts and we wanted to do something to help.”
