About the 2025 CEA/Johanna Foods Turkey Trot
Now in its 33rd year, the Flemington Turkey Trot features a 5K run and 2-mile walk beginning at Court Street Park (43 Park Avenue) and winding through Flemington’s tree-lined streets. Families, friends, and neighbors of all ages come out in their best cold-weather gear (and sometimes costumes) to kick off Thanksgiving with fresh air, fitness, and fun — all while supporting a great local cause. Whether you’re a serious runner chasing a Thanksgiving 5K PR or just out to enjoy a family-friendly Turkey Trot, this Flemington event is a perfect way to kick off your Turkey Day. How the CEA Turkey Trot Supports the Community
Proceeds from the event directly benefit CEA’s employment programs, which provide vocational training, job coaching, and ongoing support for students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hunterdon County and throughout Central Jersey. CEA is the only agency in our region that offers a full continuum of vocational rehabilitation services, making this annual Turkey Trot in Flemington an important fundraiser for critical local services.
