Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is pleased to announce our sponsorship of the Borough of Flemington’s annual July 3rd Fireworks celebration.

This year’s event will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Reading-Fleming Intermediate School, 50 Court Street, Flemington. Fields open at 6:00 PM, with entertainment by Dr D Entertainment beginning at 6:30 PM. Fireworks are expected to launch at approximately 9:20 PM, at dusk.

As a local mutual insurance company founded in Hunterdon County in 1856, we are proud to support this longstanding community tradition and help bring neighbors, families, and friends together for an evening of music, food, and fireworks. We’re especially excited this year since it’s the USA’s 250th birthday!

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the event. The Flemington Fire Department will be selling hot dogs, and Rita’s Italian Ice will be selling treats to help support the celebration. Chick-fil-A will also have its mascot cow walking around.

The rain date is Sunday, July 5, 2026.

About the 2025 CEA/Johanna Foods Turkey Trot

Now in its 33rd year, the Flemington Turkey Trot features a 5K run and 2-mile walk beginning at Court Street Park (43 Park Avenue) and winding through Flemington’s tree-lined streets. Families, friends, and neighbors of all ages come out in their best cold-weather gear (and sometimes costumes) to kick off Thanksgiving with fresh air, fitness, and fun — all while supporting a great local cause. Whether you’re a serious runner chasing a Thanksgiving 5K PR or just out to enjoy a family-friendly Turkey Trot, this Flemington event is a perfect way to kick off your Turkey Day. How the CEA Turkey Trot Supports the Community

Proceeds from the event directly benefit CEA’s employment programs, which provide vocational training, job coaching, and ongoing support for students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hunterdon County and throughout Central Jersey. CEA is the only agency in our region that offers a full continuum of vocational rehabilitation services, making this annual Turkey Trot in Flemington an important fundraiser for critical local services. Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Hunterdon County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) 188’s annual “Shop with a Cop” program, an initiative aimed at spreading holiday cheer to local families in need.

 

The Shop with a Cop program assists families who are financially struggling during the holiday season by providing charitable funds for purchasing gifts. In addition to offering support to families, the event promotes positive community policing by pairing local police officers with children from these families for a shopping experience at Walmart in Flemington. The program not only helps families celebrate the holidays but also fosters a stronger connection between law enforcement and the community they serve.

 

Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is honored to play a part in this heartwarming initiative that makes a difference in the lives of Hunterdon County residents. Toys for Tots Collection Now Underway in Flemington

Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is excited to once again partner with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation as a toy drop-off location this holiday season. 🦌🛷🎅🎁🎄

 

Help us spread joy to children in need by donating new, unwrapped toys at our office, located at 23 Royal Road in Flemington, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We will be accepting donations through mid-December. Cash donations are also welcome.

Flemington, NJ, October 4, 2024 — Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington announced today that its Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of A- Excellent has been affirmed by AM Best Rating Services. The company’s Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) of a-, Excellent was also affirmed.

 

“We are pleased we were able to maintain our A- Excellent rating in the face of a very challenging economy marked by ongoing inflation and rising reinsurance costs,” said Scott St. Angel, President & CEO of Farmers.  “As a Mutual company our primary focus is protecting and serving the interests of our Policyholders.  The affirmation of our rating assures our Policyholders that we will be there when they need us — just as we have been since 1856.”

The High Bridge Fire Department is hosting its 24th annual golf outing fundraiser on September 6th, 2024 at the High Bridge Hills Golf Course. This year’s event will raise money for the department’s equipment fund, ensuring the department has the best possible tools to protect our community.

FLEMINGTON, NJ – Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is once again proud to partner with the U.S. Marines as a Toys for Tots drop-off location to help bring cheer to local kids in need this holiday season! 🦌🛷🎅🎁🎄

 

Anyone who would like to support Toys for Tots is encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at the Farmers of Flemington building 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 23 Royal Road in Flemington between 8:00am and 4:00pm M-F.  Cash donations will also be accepted in lieu of toys and we will be accepting donations through mid-December.

Be Cool, Support Tools for School!

The Annual United Way Tools for School Drive is Underway!

 

 

Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is collecting school supplies and donations to support Tools for School and provide needed assistance to children in Hunterdon County that could not otherwise afford these essential supplies.  Last year, the United Way of Hunterdon County helped 800+ students from pre-K through 12th grade by providing school supplies and backpacks to help them start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

 

In addition to donating backpacks and other supplies, we have set up a collection bin in our office at 23 Royal Road, Flemington where generous doners can drop off supplies M-F 8am – 4pm.   We hope you will consider donating supplies to help the kids who need it most in our local community.

Farmers of Flemington to Sponsor 2023 Clinton Elks Music Fest

The Clinton Elks Lodge will be holding their 19th Annual Music Fest on Saturday, June 10, 2023 to raise money for special needs children and Elks’ Camp Moore “Miracle on the Mountain,” a camp paid for by the NJ Elks Lodges.  Farmers Insurance Company of Flemington is very pleased to sponsor this fun community event.

 

Camp Moore gives the children a sense of independence; all children get a one-on-one counselor for the week, who has special training in their disabilities. The counselors come from all over the world and spend their summers at the camp. The kids can enjoy the arts & crafts room, nature and game rooms, outdoor pool, picnics and many more activities.

 

Please come out and support the Elks while you enjoy a fun afternoon of great music, food and drink!  We hope to see you there!!
